Steve and Julie have managed the Butchers Arms since 2008. The Butchers is in the heart of Thurnscoe and has a carpark at the front and large beer garden at the rear which frequently hosts family fun days and BBQ’s in the summer months.
The pub has two pool tables and a darts board as well as the latest juke box and games machines.
The Butchers has both a darts and pool team but are always looking to expand their team with new players.

The main lounge bar benefitted from a full refurbishment in 2017 and the pub now boasts both Sky and BT Sports and has several large TV screens in both sides of the pub. At The Butchers there are deals available on VK’s and bottles of Bulmers and Herrljunga. There is also an extensive Wine Menu on offer at the Butchers including prosecco as well as a selection of Gins and London Road Cocktails.
