The Ship Inn is a sport orientated pub which is located on the high street in Wallsend and is one of Quality Tavern’s busiest establishments.
Irene who runs the pub is well known for her cooking and often provides free bar snacks throughout the day for her customers. In 2016 the pub benefitted from a full internal and external refurbishment.
The pub also has a function room upstairs which is perfect for hiring out for private functions and plays host to Newcastle United games on the Big Screen.

The pub also has several large flat screen TV’s which show both Sky and BT Sports as well as two racing channels, Racing UK and At The Races. The Ship has a pool table and darts board and are currently welcoming customers to set up new teams for both. The Ship has a large beer garden which Irene has taken great care in and it is particularly pretty at night. At The Ship Inn there are deals available on VK’s and bottles of Bulmers and Herrljunga. The pub also has an extensive Wine Menu including prosecco, a large selection of Gins with an array of flavours such as Elderflower and Rhubarb as well as a number of London Road Cocktails.
